A Season of Gratitude: December News from Giliane E. Mansfeldt Photography”

Hi friends,
December always arrives with a different kind of softness. The world slows down a bit. Homes get quieter, warmer. And suddenly the little things feel bigger — a familiar ornament on the tree, kids curled up on the couch, a dog snoring under a blanket, a shared moment that reminds you just how quickly a year can move.
This is the season when my studio feels the most reflective. I look back at the stories I’ve had the honor to document — new babies, growing families, milestones, goodbyes, fresh beginnings — and I feel deeply grateful. You’ve trusted me with moments you never get back, and that trust means everything.
So before anything else: thank you.
For being here. For supporting my work. For letting me step briefly into your world and freeze a little piece of it for you.
A Meaningful Gift for the Holidays
If you’re looking for a heartfelt gift — something personal, something lasting — digital gift cards are available throughout the month.
They can be sent instantly (perfect for last-minute gifting), and they give your loved ones the chance to plan a session that feels right for their story in the new year. New parents, grandparents, couples, families, pet lovers — a photo session is a gift that keeps growing in value long after the season ends.
🧡 Gift cards are digital-only this year for easy sending and safe keeping.
🖼️ Your Holiday Photos Deserve to Be Seen
If you had a holiday session with me this season — or you’re receiving your gallery soon — here’s a gentle nudge to bring those images to life:
Print the one that made you emotional the moment you saw it.
Add a framed photo to your mantle or entryway — a small touch that warms the whole room.
Choose one image to turn into a keepsake you bring out every December.
And if you’re gifting photos, remember: a single framed print can mean more than any wrapped box.
If you’d like help selecting prints or designing something special, I’m always here to guide you.
🧡 From My Heart to Yours
As the year closes, I’m reminded again of why I chose this work all those years ago — the heart behind it, the humanity in it, and the quiet magic of being able to preserve a moment that would have otherwise slipped away unnoticed. Photography has always been more than images to me. It’s a way of holding onto connection, of honoring the chapters we’re living through right now, and of creating something that lasts long after the moment has passed.
This year, your stories shaped my days in the most meaningful ways. I’ve watched babies grow, toddlers turn into full-blown personalities, families expand, families change, and beloved pets leave pawprints on my studio floors and my own heart. I’ve witnessed so many small in-between moments — a shy smile, a child’s unexpected belly laugh, the way a parent instinctively reaches for their little one, the look two people share when they think no one else is paying attention.
These are the kinds of moments that remind me why this work matters.
Your families have filled my studio with laughter, warmth, chaos (the good kind!), comfort, and more authenticity than I could ever put into words. Every session this year brought something new, something real, something worth remembering. And I’m endlessly grateful for every single person who stepped in front of my lens in 2025.
Thank you for trusting me with your memories. Thank you for welcoming me into your families — even briefly — and for allowing me to tell a piece of your story. It’s an honor I never take lightly.
And as I look toward the new year, I’m carrying all of these moments with me — the joy, the growth, the connection, the storytelling. They’re the foundation for everything I’ll be building in 2026, and I can’t wait to continue creating with you.
🌟 Looking Ahead to 2026
While I’m not announcing anything big just yet, I can share this:
2026 will bring even more depth, education, and heart to everything I do.
More learning opportunities for beginners and young photographers — both in the studio and in the classroom.
More community storytelling through The Framekeeper Project, including expanded partnerships that help preserve local memories and voices.
And more of the work I’ve always loved most — slowing down, capturing connection, and telling the stories that matter.
I can’t wait to step into another year with you.
Wishing you a warm, peaceful, joy-filled holiday season.
Thank you for being part of my studio, my work, and my year.
With gratitude,
Giliane Mansfeldt
